CwCN Plan

A Child with Complex Needs (CwCN) Plan (also known as a Child's Plan) should be drawn up for children who are not Looked After but are identified as Children in Need who are requiring services to meet their needs. It should be completed following a NARRATES CwCN or NARRATES S46 where services are identified as necessary.

Under the Integrated Children's System, if a Child is subject to a Child Protection Risk Action Plan, it is recorded as part of the CwCN Plan.

The CwCN Plan may also be used with children receiving short break care in conjunction with Part One of the Care Plan.
